I started drawing when I was yeah high, kept it going through my teens, but somehow got lost on the way. I ended up graduating from Harvard Biz School, went into finance, spent years in the Middle East and now, I have decided to go back to my art... There is not much at the moment, but Im working hard at it.

Real nice, If that is what you do after just picking up after so many years I would love to see what you do when you are running at full capacity.

More please.

Personal shitty opinion(Ignore at will, might be delusional or results of personal tastes or vlafours):
Picking up a brush after so many years. Nudity does not age but fashion sure does. If that’s just taste, just ignore my insolence.
I havn't checked out what is happening in the world of black leather lately but it won't hurt picking up some magazine material. Something in there looks a little 80's-90's.

Very astute, The woman with her arm over her head was in fact an Indian Ink sketch I did in 1986 whilst getting bored at home. I recently found it among my tons of papers whilst doing a clear out, so I scanned it and touched it up on photoshop, simply to see what I could do and what it would look like digitally. It was done with a mouse, so I really need to get myself a tablet. Took me ages!

Thank you for your comments by the way....

Nice stuff :D.

The mouse i think explains the strange shading on her rib cage, it almost looks like metal.

Keep it up, and i hope you can get your art back on track and keep it there.

Yes it was difficult to get rid of that metallic look. Thanks for the comment.

I have more work on the way...

Awesome job with a mouse! I like how you render back muscle definition. Your figurative style reminds me of someone but I can't quite put my finger on it. Along the Soroyama /Arantza/ Royo lines but I can't place it. Looking forward to seeing what you'll do with a tablet.

Thank you Eon, its all down to observation really. I have always been influenced by Frazetta and Vallejo as well as the great renaissance artists. Whilst I wait for my Tablet to arrive I continue with the traditional methods of Graphite and Paint Brush!

Your digital brush strokes need some work. They look rather flat atm. Otherwise nice stuff!

Im waiting to get a tablet, then i should be able to work on the brush strokes. Did this with a mouse, it took for ever... Thanks for the advice, Im new to digital art, but i see what you mean.

Here are a couple more, one a sketch and the other using the shadows pose but adding a dragon, helmet, sword and roller skates and giving it a cartoon feel.

I saw that small icon with the lady...and odd looking shadows. It had this mysterious quality to it. Keep painting

Thanks Pigeonkill, glad you like it. Thought about doing the same in colour. Don't know if it would spoil the painting tho'.
