Dur..

I'm trying to get my avatar to work, but it keeps saying its an invalid JPG and/or .GIF

It's 80x80 AND less than 20k in size..

ANyone know why it's not working?
If this isn't the write forum, let me know so I may ask in the appropiate forum.

PS: There's also this error at the top of the "invalid avatar" page...

i had the same message... try save for the web in photoshop... i remember doing something like this ...

That's odd.. I tried opening your gif in photoshop and it mentions an invalid file. regardless, here's a lighter version for you :
Gif = around 5_196 bytes
http://mysite.directlink.net/thierry/yoko_avatar.gif
JPG = around 5_178 bytes
http://mysite.directlink.net/thierry/yoko_avatar.jpg
And as Forge mentionned, always Save for Web when you want to send something on the forum / website. :)
