How Do You Create The Favicon.ico File Needed For Favicons In Photoshop?

You need a plug in. I think the one I used came from http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/

Save it as a bitmap the right size, then manually change the extension to .ico

It does sometimes cock-up (transparency-wise) but usually works.
