I just discovered this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wacom-Intuos3-Tablet-Pen-Mouse/dp/B0006ZOY60
Wacom Intuos3 A5 Tablet Pen and Mouse USB Mac/Win
I wonder why it is priced at only 170 pounds which is $240. A A5 tablet, a pen and a mouse for only $240! If I understand correctly A5=6*8, and a 6*8 Intuos3 costs $270.
The title is kind of confusing, but the dimensions are 34.5 cm x 26.2 cm x 1.3 cm, so I think this is not just a pen. But how can it be so cheap!
Edit: The reason I ask this question is that I want to buy one, but this is just suspiciously cheap.

What you should be asking yourself is, why is everything else generally so expensive! Let's not kid ourselves, this kind of technology is very cheap now, there is no excuse for tablets to cost as much as they do. You should be wondering why a cintiq costs close to $2000 when a 32" LCD tv costs around $500 and Wacom's largest tablet costs (and I think this is rediculous) $600!
Bottom line, you need it? Is is a bargain? Get it! We pay for overpriced stuff everyday as it is!

It's not about the production cost, it's about how much people are willing to pay for it...oh, and this "as of 2005, Wacom (according to itself) held a market share of 95.8% in Japan and estimated 70% in the rest of the world".

It sounds like overstock of an older item - maybe a color not used anymore, or a less snazzy mouse?
Honestly, a $30 discount wouldn't be enough to set up any alarm bells in my head, especially if it was a floor model or somesuch. Scam artists rely on desperation and greed - $100 bucks off with no flaws mentioned would make me wonder.

I own a Wacom Intuos3 6x11 and got it for $199.
It was Refurb'd but it didn't even look like it was ever touched.
Everything was included, no scratches. I searched for that deal. Worked great!
