That's a nice painting.

The background is so bright and cheery, totally opposite of the mayhem happening on the ground.

its actually based at inPRNT! (www.inprnt.com), where you can find a few other prints by Jason, and a fair few others on the CA boards (yours truly inc ;))

This is one of Jason's best, IMO. I wish he put up a step by step.

It's not Left 4 Dead. He did this long before the game came out. Someone sent it out in an email at work too and criticized him for making Bill a redheaded little girl.

yeah. Kotaku was about a year late in realizing this work even existed. The issue arises because no one actually reads news they just look at the images, if they don't know about CA (and subsequently LMS) then they'll assume that it's related to the most immediate reference point they have (e.g. L4D).

People really need to think before they talk. Too bad they never will.

edit: it seems like if you want to get your art known just hang out and participate in CA activities enough and some lazy news blog will post your work. io9, a sci-fi part of the Giz news blogs just posted a link to CHOW 144 http://io9.com/5139761/dont-mess-with-post+apocalyptic-siamese-twins

Yeah, I was kind of curious when people were linking it to L4D since it was one of my favourite LMS entries. :P

Yeh, I saw that! Just proves that everyone who has a few spare minutes should be out participating in the weekly activities.
