Wanted: Concept illustrator/Storyboard artist to help breathe visual life into an animated graphic novel
Who we are: We're a group of professionals which have come to realize the value of creating and working on our own project. After working for entities such as Activision, EA, LucasArts and Sony, the idea of creating something as expression of the self has finally taken root. We have Production/Project management and Audio Production/Post-production experience. That being said, we have a collection of projects from the past few years which we'd like to bring to life.
Ideal Candidate: We'd like to find someone to create black and white images based on a specific shot list. We're looking for a specific style, one that has a dark dirty quality with energetic lines and muted shadows. In addition, we'd like the ideal candidate to have knowledge of character/location concepts as your style will help to shape this project.
Influences: Sergio Leone, Akira Kurosawa, Ridley Scott, Ben Templesmith, David Lynch, David Fincher
Skill Level: We'd really like to find a college student as we know how hard it was to find the first few gigs even if we thought we were the best and that anyone should hire us.
Pay: We're offering pay, which will be dependent on contribution and will be negotiated prior to any work commencing. Pay scales vary for thumbnails and increase for full renderings.
