I made this piece over the period of many months. A night here, a night there. so altogether I've spent about three nights at it. It was made a gift for my partner, who's got it framed on her wall :)
The two figures are playing their instruments together. Mentally connected through the sounds they produce, the female figure is androgynous by nature and her flute is creating a beast of sorts, flowery creations.
The male figure is characterised as a Dylan or Lennon figure, because those two people had many identities. Which i thought reflected on the image of the male musician.
the piece is traditional, made with Watercolours and pens.
