The Mixed Bag that was 2008

08 turned out to be a very up and down year for me. I would be either cranking out work or struggling to even sketch. There was very little consistency overall. Here are a few of the pieces that managed to reach the light of day. This year seems to be looking much better for me, and if all goes well I'll be posting regularly for a change.

Comments more than welcome! I can take a beating.

These were for a card game. I still haven't seen the printed versions and I am not even certain if they made it to press. These also mark some of my earliest attempts at working digitally.

After fleeing my day job I needed to look to graphic design for income. I used my sketches from the previous year(2007) to throw together a printed sketchbook. This was a great way to get back into design and will most likely become an annual tradition.

I was contracted to illustrate five interiors for an RPG. The project never went to press. In fact, the company seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

The first image shows some potential. The cover of your sketch book is the best of the lot, IMHO.
