Hi guys. I'm new to the forums and just have a quick question. I tried a search but couldn't really think how to phrase it so I'll just ask.

I'm not the most accomplished artist and have pretty limited knowledge with photoshop. I've scanned an image and started to draw over using a wacom tablet which i'm new to aswell. I'm basically just wondering if there's a way to have the lines you draw smooth out and curve neatly instead of squiggly all over the place as a result of a slightly shaky hand.
Any help would be much appreciated.

(I'm using Photoshop cs3 by the way.)

Thanks :)

Unfortunately that's a problem with Wacom tablets and all versions of PS prior to CS4 - lines are horribly shaky.

In the past the only solution was to use Painter instead, smooth lines are no problem there.

However the problem has been fixed in CS4, so upgrading is also a viable solution.

Ok thanks. Was hoping there might be an app or update or something that could do it.

I'm not sure if it makes any difference but I've only got a cheaper bamboo tablet aswell.

I have an intuos 3 but I'd say doing faster sweeping strokes works...you just need to practice lots-still takes plenty of ctrl+z action but that works for me (I have cs3 if that makes any difference)
