Well, I've never been the CG type but I've been inspired by various artists to give it a shot. So here I be. LoL I just sat down and took one of my messy pencil sketches and gave it a little life. It's far from perfect, I know but I think it's the best color job I've ever given anything yet. That may not be saying much to some of your color gods out there but know that you have an admirer in me. :P Like I said before, I didn't really plan on working much on this. I just took a doodle from my sketchbook and started blastin' it with color. I realize there are some definate proportion issues here. LoL For example the jaw, ear, the way the arm meets the chest is quite odd. Bleh. Next time I'll have the drawing worked out better, promise.
It took me about 3 hours or so to complete in Photoshop 7 and I did it all with a mouse. And I really feel the need for a tablet now. Especially because this type of medium is so addictive. I wanna color more of my stuff now! LoL Hopefully by the end of the month I'll have my Graphire 6 by 8. Until then it's me and da' mouse. C n C are greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking a look guys.
Oh and I created a wallpaper of it too. LoL I felt so proud! You can get it here if you want it. http://www.studioyume.com/dump/ninjaglowwallpaper.jpg
