Nothing great, some of the only realistic heads I drew. But I would like to know what I should learn from drawing portraits from photos because I don't feel I learned much other than how to draw what I see and not from my mind.

And for some info: The guy in the top left is supposed to be Kurosawa (doesn't really look like him), top right is Yojimbo (but looks like Al Paccino). Top left is the first I drew so it looks worst:p

Waiting for comments and crits!

..seriously, what did you expect to learn?

..if you do not know what you are trying to learn, how can you learn it?

i'd say if you feel like you're learning nothing then you are drawing mindlessly. try to understand what you are doing and why and how you can get better. try to understand how you work, how your perception work. study yourself drawing. keep a journal. know thyself

edit: nice drawing :)
