tic tank

did this for the JA sketch group. the topic was "organic attack vehicles". its a giant tic tank which has jumped and is in mid flight. crit and comments appreciated :)

i did 2 versions. took about 1 - 2 hours to do

Its a really nice design, clever positioning of the gunners :) .

Its also really nice linework, and although the lighting is good on the second colour job, I prefer the first just because its much more visible. Very impressive for 2 hours work.

really really cool design. i'm partial to the red one though for some reason, it seems more menicing (spelling?). reminds me a lot of bisley and el coro's stuff which is awesome! and if i may ask, what is JA?

yea the red one does look better for some reason... and it's not lighting, just colour-combination i think... not quite sure there.. :s
only comment, the ends of the tic's antennae look kinda like you just left them white. think you should add some colour there... then i think i would consider buying it :D

i wanted the ends of the antennae to be lit up. but i guess i coulda chose a better colour than white.

This is really great...I gotta say I like the red one too...it's a more striking image methinks...
Also I think Sketch was referring to graffitti art with the Graf reference...although I may be wrong :)

But JA site needs a new cover design...so maybe some more people would join...

most people say they like the red one but i prefer the geen myself :) ah graf, graffiti i get it now :) yeah atmospheria i saw it, u really did a great job! so did the others who coloured it!

I might as well join the rest, as it is i do like the red much more mainly because it adds more ambience to the whole 'weaponry'.
