IronCode (http://www.ironcode.com) is looking for a comic book artist for our upcoming game. The game is a 2D First Person adventure in a fantasy setting. Given our limited budget, we are looking for a inexpensive, but good artist to do both illustration and coloring. The art need not be super detailed.
In between the stages of the game, there is a bit of storytelling, and we are using comic strips to do it. A strip has one to three panels, it looks like this (http://www.ironcode.com/data/art_req.jpg).
The size of the strip is 800x400 pixels. There are 21 such strips that need to be illustrated & coloured. All in all there are about 45 panels. The biggest panel is 800x400 (one panel for the whole strip), and a smaller panel could be 200x400 (3 panels in one strip).
The artist will be given the background story, the text for the panels, and a brief idea about what the scene should be (of course, clarifications will provided as needed).
If you are interested in the project, please revert back to us giving us a link to your portfolio, and cost & time estimate. You can email me at pallav.[at].ironcode.com or PM me in this forum.
