Their stance looks a bit false. I mean, the guy who has just received the blow and is holding the other guy's fist should be kinda tilted from the blow. I'm sorry, I'm not very good at explaining this... Mayb someone who notices the same thing can explain it better?

well, i like it. i would have to agree with cadence though, the stance is a bit false. the left leg of the guy with the pony tail is bent, but it's drawn further back than the right leg. i reckon if you drew it more forward then it'd look like he was putting his support on it and he'd look more steady. otherwise a great work of art and fantastic shading and highlights! post more, i'd love to see more of your work:)

I would have to agree with the other two as well. The guy with his back to us, seems as if he is falling over, into the guy in front of him. It seperates the two characters, and makes it feel as if they are on seperate planes, not the same one. What might help is to draw in a small perspective grid on the ground, and use that to place their feet in space, giving you reference to where they are positioned in relationship to each other. you can then draw a vertical line up from the grid, using that as your center line for the character, thus helping you place his torso in space. An example of this can be found in any of brasshorsekillers drawings, he often uses a small grid to place the creatures in space, and to set up where everything is in relationship to the other parts.

That's what I was taught to do in animation too.

I like the shot though! I hope you make those changes and complete this piece. :)

Wow thanks for the constructive replies:), the comments about the guys stance all make sense to me, and i reckon next time i try something like this i will plan the perspective better, i called it a day on this though after i added a few more highlights.
