umm i dunno i expect a demon to look a lot meaner and scarier..maybe adding some bulk, and more muscle, have him take up more of the page

try working on white paper next time.. it may actually cost less than lined because of the ink..

Try to work on some anatomy. The design of it is kind of bland. It doesnt have a dark or even demonic feel to it.....

You'd improve your picture 200 percent if you added in more details. Right now, it isn't very attractive to see. It needs more energy also. So, I'd suggest picking another pose.:electric:

there's no reason for the image to be this large. the file size isn't terrible but you don't need to have lineart at wallpaper size.

clean up the scan. open it in photoshop and adjust the levels until the dirtiness and lines are gone.

the pose suggests the character is standing, not flying. define a ground plane.

adding value would really help this image pop. a shadow on the ground really helps to place a character in space.

proportion. anatomy. is this character supposed to have human proportions? uniform proportions? the character's left arm is noticably larger than his right. if this was an intentional perspective attempt, the character's right arm should be bigger than his left, keeping with the way he's standing. the left leg of his pants looks a bit short as well.

the hands are flat and lack form. the fingers of the left hand look as though they're taped on the hilt of the sword rather than wrapped around it.

proportion. anatomy. worth mentioning twice. very important. double, then triple check the wing anatomy. is that really how you want the wings to look? they appear to be sprouting out of the character's neck, where as they typically would attach around the shoulder blades.

have i mentioned proportion and anatomy? sorry to sound like a complete asshat, but i think it's high time someone gave you a serious critique. good luck, and keep at it.

thanks! this pic is not the way i wanted it to come out.. Im ussually more in tune with evil but i tried to draw an angel and messed I agree the anatomy is bad but i did this in abuot 5 min with no consideration to detail

well that explains it. try to spend longer on them. How about just make one great picture during the twenty minutes you have lunch detention tommorow, or do half of it tommorow and the other half thursday. next time let's not get caught.
