Hi raybender.
I am definatley impressed by your quality works. Great mood, as said before, and the use of colour is great. Especially in the first one (the purples and the yellows complement eachother well) and the last one. The details add a lot of mood and story, too. Great job.
Cheers

Yikes! You are good, buddy. I wanna say I've seen you post these somewhere else before, and I can't for the life of me remember. Wasn't one of these supposed to be for a mock-up Blade Runner game or something? I know I didn't see it in 2Dartist magazine, cant rememberrrrrrr ahhhhhhh! Anyway, wonderful work!

I really like your environments and vehicles, but I think some of the characters could be more dynamic if their hips and shoulders weren't parallel to the ground. I'm trying to improve on this as well, but in the future take advantage of contrapposto to shift your characters' weight and balance even if they're standing completely still, and especially if they're in an active pose. Just don't overdo it or your characters will look unbalanced when you shift their center of gravity too far.

awesome stuff dude, your paintings carry a lot of atmosphere, I dig them. Some anatomy studies could help strengthen the characters in your scenes too. Looking forward to more.

Hey Alex, I'm a fan of your enviros! Didn't expect to see you on CA, and hadn't slightest idea, that people would be a hard thing for you. Best advice - look for Matthew Archambault pencil portrait tutorials. It was really helpful for me to get basics and average parts of portrait drawing. For now (I don't know will it be a revelation) always try first to put basic shape (even when painting from ref) and then do shading.
Well, I hope I've been helpfull at least somehow, cheers )

Wow! This is on the entire opposite side of what I can do, so I kneel before the talent with your enviros, really loose feel, almost seems effortless!!
I'm curious, do you use a lot of custom brushes? Or..? what?
Either way, SBs lookin great! I'd like to see some anatomy studies, maybe some attempts at some more characters or portraits, but looks like you're working on that as well.
