How do I get smooth flowing lines on this

using a tablet and Gimp?
It's driving me crazy!

All help appreciated. Am I holding the pen too tight? Am I sitting at the wrong angle with my tablet? Is there some kind of adjustment I can make?

Nooooo! I was serious: maybe I should rephrase......
How can you achieve a long sweeping line on a tablet?
I thought it might be a kinda universal question.

If you want to get smoother lines then you have to make smoother strokes :P It's kind of self explanatory.

The reason why Brashen said to go to the Gimp forums is because the program you use can affect the stroke smoothness. Some programs have smoothers which take your stroke signals and smooth them out on the canvas. A great example is Flash. In it you can choose the smoothness of your lines. Hope that helps.
