News:
Wow. We had a pretty damned good group for Thanksgiving weekend. I’m surprised that so many people escaped a tryptophan coma and came out to friggin’ DRAW. So many new faces every week... It’s getting harder and harder to remember everyone’s names.
1. Austin Sketch Group Art Show!!!
Let’s get ready for our first ASG ART SHOW, in March @ the Hideout. Tentatively opening on March 9th, right in the middle of South by Southwest. Would love that everyone submits 1-5 pieces of work and have it ready by mid Feb for entry into a printed catalogue. Justin Gordon’s working on sponsors, a band for that night and serpent dancers or firemen or something cool like that. Oh, by the way, space is limited, so some pieces may be turned away so that we can fit all ASG MEMBERS into the show. Justin or I’ll post some more info to the ASG Message Board as it becomes available.
2. The ASG “Drinkin’ and Drawin’ 2 Pub Crawl” is on for Next Saturday, Dec. 13th!!!
T-Minus one week!!!! Put your Beer Goggles on... See the “NEWS” section of http://www.austinsketchgroup.com for details.
3: If you haven’t done so yet, send your photo and samples of your work for the site!!!
