Hello, everybody!! :rendered:
I'm new here!! My name is Lenia, I'm a student and I'm from Greece. I don't draw very often by hand but I want to learn to sketch with the pencil and mostly with the PC. I'm a jewellery maker. Also, I sculpt, not great things but I make efforts.
I installed the SKETCHUP program but when I opened it, it said to me that "The program doesn't respond".
I unistalled it and re-downloaded nad re-installed it but the problem remains. What can I do?? :[
I have Windows Vista.

It could be anything at this point but my gut tells me that it could be a Vista glitch. Incase you haven't noticed Vista totally sucks big sweatty testes. I've got very simple applications that are on my Vista machine that don't work either for what seems to be no reason at all. I don't know if this will help at all but I found a link to a possible solution

http://quainttech.blogspot.com/2007/05/google-sketchup-on-windows-vista.html

or google "sketchup on vista" and see what else you can find.
Damned Bill Gatesand his inferior OS!!!

I use Vista and sketchup...they work fine together. Beyond that you probably want to check your system for other requirements to make sure it can operate the program.

Thank you both!
I used the advice in the link that you gave me, Thundercock. I made the compatibility for Windows 95 (...!) and now it works.
Thanks again!!

Great that it works. Tho if you downloaded the latest version I don't think you would have had that problem.
