Spartan Camp #70 - 50 gestures + Optional Study of "Winter clothing"
The aim is to produce 50 gestures by Sunday the 18th of January.

The gestures can be of anything, human, animal, cavorting capybaras....and can be in any media, digital or traditional is fine.

In addition to this, participants can choose to do a Optional Study of "Winter clothing", in any media. Black and White or Colour is fine.

PS...critting each other is highly encouraged!! Let's help each other get better!

Judging from the "Members World Map" above, most people should be able to draw the optional 'from life'. For the others, there's internet!

sorry, i forgot about this thread but i will have gestures for the next round. i actually have plenty of gestures but no way to get them uploaded in time.

Nice gestures, Anthis. Are they from imagination or reference? If ref, what are you using for ref? I haven't taken part in the spartan camp yet, so I'll make sure to join in next round. Or is this round extended through this week too?

Yes please! join in. This is a great exercise and it would be a shame to see it disappear. After all, its no use to keep this going just for me.

Bishop Six; Ref and imagination combined. The poses themselves are from imagination, but I always keep reference around to check on the anatomy and to keep me focused. I use books from Loomis and Bridgman (highly advisable!), as well as all kinds of inspiration from internet and this site.
