Yeah, good work - love the way you've painted the different surfaces (hair, textile, metal, etc). Water is great also.

she has two left hands, but otherwise it's painted beautifully.

2 Left hands?

Nice work Trusha, absolutely beautiful painting of such a simple subject.

That's not a thumb on the pot, the thumb is obscured.

Nope i dont agree with you, its very confusing, at this resolution anyway.
Maybe some higher res crop of the hand would read better.

Still its a nice painting, you did a good job.

How so? At that angle, grabbing onto something (the pot) her thumb wouldn't be sticking out on the side. It would be obscured by the rest of her hand. Try picking something similar up at that angle and really watch what your hand does.

Whoops, my bad you're right, i really had a hard time seeing it that way,
i was seeing the little finger as her thumb all along...
Im still not very comfortable with that hand but now i know its the right one.

very nice painting skills. though i agree about the hand, maybe using a seperate reference for the hand would have been better becouse of the angle. As for reference, is this from one source? if so, be carefull, for personal work its ok , but if you plan to make money with your artwork, the copyright laws are very strict.
