Now I'm normally not one to ask for stuff and just take what is offered, but I've just been browsing through Zhanglu's thread and am amazed by his portrait illustrations.

So.... any timeline on his download(s)?

New fan of this guy, his layin is similar to Sean Cheetham and Hussar's in which they don't find the generalized large shapes at the beginning but rather try to capture the personality of the shape early on. I would love to see him do one of his alla primas, but just watching that sped up video I learned a great amount of information on his digital technique. I'll definitely be buying his DVD!

this guy just reinforces in my mind that sometimes its fine to just run with an idea instead of over simplifying thus further complicating a piece. i'll definately be watching this man
