I haven't posted anything here in prolly' like 3 years. Sorry fans...been busy you know. Anyways, I'm no a big 3d guy but got hooked on Sketchup watching the Massive Black trailer. I've been dicking around with the program for about a month now and finally have some results I'm not too embarrassed to show. Its not perfect but i think the idea is solid enough at least for my uses. Crits comments always welcome. If anyone wants the skp. file I'll be more than happy to post it...flaws and all.

it doesn't look like a battle cruiser, more like a fighter
to me. ;]

I think you're right...I'm not good with names either. Call it what you will. It was just a tinkering of mine. I'm no sketchup pro by any stretch of the imagination but am really digging what can be done by a novice such as myself. BTW..thanks for the props homie!!

Great model. Looks more like a fighter to me too :P And you should definitely give the sticks in the front (guns?) more detailing, to do the rest of the model justice :) Can't wait to see more from you.

Not a bad recommendation thirdeye. I had thought about it but was going to see what could be done with some painted textures. I didn't want to overdue the entire model and have everything be just crazy with details. What I was hoping to accomplish was to have the guns be a a sort of resting point for the eye where they're just heavy and forboding looking to contrast the space age design of the rest of the ship...but I think you're right..adding just a little something now would give the monochrome model a little more depth and character. I'll make some tweaks soon as I can and repost. Thanks for the tip!

hey nice, dare I say it, fighter. It looks fantastic.
As the gy above said, the cannon/antenna,probe rod thign at the front could do with a little something. A muzzle or something.
greta model. Downloading ti as we speak, I cant want to have a crack

Sweet ship mate! Loving the curves. Reminds me in a strange way of Jabba's sail barge in Return of the Jedi...
Great stuff!
P.S. Yes, it's a fighter ;)

Thanks for the props everyone. I've been a bit busy and haven't tinkered with the design at all but all crits and comments are noted and agreed upon from my point of view. When the updates finally get done I'll post to get more feedback. Thanks for commenting all. Peace!!
