Hallo! I'm new here, so I decided to start my conceptart.org career with a sketchbook, starting with some past stuff (not much), and going from there! I am the proud new owner of a Intuoso3, a beefy computer, and Painter, so I'm pumped. :lounge:

Anywho, here's some past work- this could be anywhere from a week to a year old, I took a break from art for 5 years, and am just now getting serious about it again:

The Half-Lion-Lady is my favorite. You've got good colors in this last one but maybe the ear could be higher?

Thanks! I'm happier with my newer work (the sphinx, the first pic of the katana girl, etc), so I guess that's a good thing. :)

Regarding the ear: I think her face was set at a higher angle in the sketch, and it might have gotten lost along the way. Ears... Who needs them.

Anywho, not particularly happy with this (I just did it for the CHOW this month, which I intend on entering more often), but I did learn a lot while completing it. I just feel like my personality isn't really in it, and trying to make the brushes come across naturally, while keeping my personal style was REALLY hard. Well, still learning... Better than my first two tries. >_>

Another stab at this week's CHOW... I'm pretty sure I like this one more than Cheshire in terms of the mood- the other is just a pinup.

Not that I don't like pinups. <_<

Anywho, this isn't perfect- I feel like I lost a lot of my original linework (which I worked REALLY hard for)- and I'm almost considering entering the "unfinished" version. Anywho...

Done for the Cow this week- I'm basically just as happy with this as I am with the other Painter projects I've done.
