Hi

Can some of you pros show me what a clean pencil line art looks like? Is there a way to find out a thick a line should be?

Thanx

Hey

I'm no pro, but as far as line thickness goes, it varies with certain factors, but a good start (someone correct me if I'm wrong) is that you want thinner lines on the side of the light source and thicker away.

Another tip is to use lines to show a sense of depth. The closer the line in your foground the thicker, and ones receding in the background go thinner. Just as objects would be in life.

Where the shadows are on the object, make the lines bolder. When the light is reflecting, make it thinner.
