Hello everyone, again! I used to have an account on here back in high school, but forgot the name and password.
Anyway, after a decent hiatus from oil painting and drawing, aside from sketchbooks, I've found drive to once again improve by practice and hopefully critique from this forum. There's only one problem:
I'm not sure where to start. Currently I am about to start studying to become a graphic and web page design major, I own a Bamboo tablet and photoshop. However I have always been told it's best to learn fundamentals on paper rather than photoshop, and I'd rather step forward than backward. So I guess what I'm asking is: Can anyone help shed some light as to where a beginning graphic designer should start? Right now I'm just drawing anything I find challenging, but I'd like to know what I can do specifically for GD. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would imagine there are tons of new threads like this, so if there's any sort of thread that already deals with this I would greatly appreciate a link.
P.S. :mod: seemed appropriate.
oh, and JoshuatheJames, El Coro, and Android are still my heros.
