I updated the first post to include some older stuff I wanted to start off with.

Some sketches from life drawing and a quick 45 minute character doodle in photoshop:

Don't seem to have a lack of inspiration and playfullness

I would give you the same advice as I would myself, keep pushing the draughtsmanship skills(More boring stuff) untill you can really do your creative self the breakout it wants to have.

Nice work... I would suggest you try working more on forms and applying it on your figure drawing to give more three dimensional feel. Practice. Practice. Practice. Do anatomy studies. And Practice. :)

Looking forward to more work :D

Hi

I like the characters and ideas you come up with and I can see a style shaping. I especially like the Big Ben and teh red wizard, though you should definitley get back to that one and correct the anatomy when you feel surer about that sort of stuff. Nice mood on the fire/spider pic.

Cheers

Thanks, hopefully if I can keep up regular life drawing then I'll start to see some improvement. :)

Hey mate thought I'd stop by and see what you've been up to. There's some good progress here, I especially like these ones:

My only crit is to make sure you keep your toes out of the shots of your work ;)

Hey, cheers James. Yeah the toes creeping into the edge of frame is a bit out of place, I think I need to invest in some paper weights instead :)

Update:

I bought a nintendo DS to use the Colors! application. AWSOME fun on the go
