Definitely my favourites series of your work so far, in every way (artistically and narrative wise ( the story behind)). Is it done for particular project or..?
# 4 rules especially.

It's a personal project

I'd rather not explain any of the images either; Follow the story as you see fit, and this is just the beginning.

I like the concept very much, and love the way it's executed.
Nice work.

Ooo, neat, I'm kinda following the story. Those scenery shots are great.

I second that. The environments are top notch. They remind me of those done by Seung Ho. They read great visually. The Penguins are cool to. Simple but full of emotion that isn't expressed only through the faces. I have to admit, penguins falling like comets do make me a little curious as to the story.

The composition on lost-013.jpg is awesome, the dark on the left makes it claustrofobic although it´s more or less an open environment. All of them are good, but that one stands out a bit more imo. Cant wait to see the rest.

duh!

I think it's pretty obvious people that we're looking at an alternative Darwin-ish evolutionary theory on how Penguins lost their wings...:p

great work....

Definitly interesting. The first few look done in photoshop and the last two look like they were done in Painter. I'm sure I'm wrong and were done in 1 program collectively.

Mind tellin'? I'm very interested in learning of new techniques.

i may have interpreted this in a way you never intended, but it so makes me think of 'the fallen angel' who essentially become the devil :evilbat:

well thats just what i picked from it.

i love the art, your landscapes are beautiful.

Beautiful... who would've thought that you could get so much raw emotion out of penguins? Masterful work, Davi. Great to see you doing something like this.

you know Davi, there is a story about two angels called Murder Mystery. It's written by Neil Gaimen. You should give it a look.

Davi this is some of the (no pun) coolest stuff I have seen you do. Are you thinking of doing a webcomic? if it were like this it would be awesome.

On the pic where the penguin is silhouetted against the top of the water you should add some blood pooling around his body from his back (in the water) and add some great red lighting effects...

Just an idear...

hey davi!!!! i gotta add my two cents as well. you are and have been one of the fastest improving artists here. these are really striking to look at and also convey emotion. it's cool, because i remember your earlier work from way back in the day. i can't wait to see what you'll post next.

simply amazing

I got kinda lost between the fourth and the fifth. Hard to follow your mind in those. I really like that though, because it makes you look at em again, try to see the connection and not just look at em go "nice" and then find another thread.

why are there two "crashs"? Are they both fallin? Probably, but I'll just wait for the next ones, it'll probably get clearer then.

It's kept so simple- and still thereis so much expression in there. Like reading a children's book

davi: these are both dynamic and beautiful in a way that leaves the word "evolved" palpitating in my mouth. i sense a great level of spiritual awareness in your work, davi - - you have a highly developed sense of the way the world works as a whole. I know these may be merely penguin pics, but i sense that you have something deeply emotional and honest to share with the world.

needless to say, keep it up.

Oh I love penguins. They are coming to a theatre near you.(I hope...) Anyone heard about the big upcoming penguin animation movie: "happy feet"? Its supposedly starring "Frodo" as main character voice. Dunno what company is going to do it. Check out http://www.scriptshark.com or something like that...
