Great colouring job!

But the pencils look way too much like J Scott Campbells work. I'd swear it was him if you didn't say it was somebody else. Even her weapons are done in very Campbell fashion.

Don't get me wrong... it is a great drawing though.

hmm... Al Rio used to work for wildstorm so it makes pretty much sense that his art resembles Campbells. If I don't remember it wrong I think he actually filled in for Campbell in Gen 13.

By the way what is Mr. Rio doing nowadays?

nice coloring job, though i'm getting a little distressed by the penciler's blatant mimicking of campbell's style. that's as bad as stealing artwork if you ask me. an artist spends his whole life developing a style and some little hot shot comes and rips it off. blechh... develop your own style mr. rio.

I't's a great piece, and if people were condemmed for being influenced by, or being paid to incorperate someones style into their work, there would be a hell of a lot of condemmed individuals.
It doesn't even look that much like J Scott Campbell's work. If anything it looks like alot of comic art out there. Campbells is more curvey and stylized. I just find a lot of comic art, for whatever reason, is too similar for me anyways.

Bloodywars its called a refencese pictures and i don't know if your up to date on the interenet but you can find a million different poses of naked girl. or if you want to grab playboy.

MooingCow... it's not ignorance. It does look like Campbells work. Now I agree that he probably gets paid because he can do work that's similair to Campbell. And it's a good drawing. But look at the the weapons and her facial experession and tell me it doesn't look like Campbell.

The only thing that looks like Campbells work is the flip on the nose along with the contour line of her nostril. Weapons... no. Eyes... not even close. I'll admit that the other chick picture looks like campbells work, but this one has so many differences that I dont see that a nose flip should ruin the picture. I guess where I'm coming from is a place where everybody wishes to God that they were Joe Mad, and illustrate in almost every possible way that he does, and do a mediocre/horrible job of being his mini mi. I think that after seeing the other chick picture, it makes this one look more.. but not identical, similar to Campbells. If anything you should get mad at the whole Jim Lee, Sylvestri, Rob Liefield, Whilice P and all of them for having the same style, just different levels of skill. And to add to that, J scott Campbells early work was a replica of their stlye as well. So I wouldn't worry about someone who somewhat resembles Campbell's work.

I only have one concern - the way her butt is drawn.
The cheek farthest from the viewer or i guess its her left cheek is sticking out too much. From my perspective, it looks like shes turning her bum a bit towards the viewer- but then again there are no folds on her side to prove that.
