Oh yeah. Great stuff. I have a handfull of the first book collections and a few comics. Not only a great style of comic but a great genre. Slightly modern but still very feudal japan feel. Like a very mild Samurai Champloo. I recently discovered that there is a animated series.

Oh man.. i watched some of the eps a whiela og.. I hate being one of those "books are better than the movie" people. but i have to say it here...
volumes like.. 15 - 19 were so boring, i was almost ready to quit reading.. finally just went through volume 20... one of the best of the whole series..... it feels like the artist / writer.. got his passion back or something.

Oh totally. I watched a few episodes....it didnt seem to have the same spark as the books. I think the On Silent Wings series was the last one I really read. Most of the stuff after that was here and there. Seems I've fallen behind enough that I have to start getting those books again.

It's one of the best manga's i've read so far both storywise and graphically. haven't read the latest volume yet, but yeah, the last three collections sort of kept running in place. I've seen one episode of the anime and damn! was i disappointed! The manga's s got this anarchistic cool about it, which is what drew me in, but they changed that with so much pathos it's ridiculous.

Wooo, just picked up the new volume 21. The whole prison story arc finally gets a nice conclusion, and also brings back 1 very serious problem. So happy with this series.

My buddy Chris loaned me his Books of it. Loved Them.
After reading them you may prefer these over any wolverine title.
What is this some kind of spam above me??
