line problem

hi i´ve got a problem with my lines. i just drew a scene and wanted to edit it with photoshop. i just scanned it in and i was a little bit shocked because you could see all over the picture some black spots, i mean which are maybe from the pencil i used. my question is now which pencil does a pro use that you don´t have such distorsion in a picture. by the way after i have finished with the pencil i used a coolie, but doesn´t help very much. kind regards oaki

Can we see the picture?

If the image is fine on paper and then shit after scan, it's going to be due to the scan. Your standard #2 should scan just as fine as a Derwent.
