a couple of 5-minute sketches

I just got back into doing some less realistic stuff and thought I'd experiment a little. So I kinda played around today and did these two and I'd like to know what you thought about the way they looked. And whether or not it would be cool to do a full, finished drawing looking like these. So, on to the pics!

Look very cool. the only thing I see about them is that you should ditch the hairdo. Makes him seem 'crowded' and kindof unpleasant imo. But very good and the second one is very interesting.
