Tamed Waters (nudity)

A quickie (I guess you could consider it a sketch - but I'm pretty much done), this time with PS7 colors, took a couple of hours. Trying to use photoshop 7 and sticking to two brushes (varying sizes of course). From photo reference.

THe porportions are all good, but the pic is kinda mucky. I would definatley use another bush for certain parts. And also the colors could be warmed up. It almost looks like you used black to shade things. And last, the color of the water is nasty. I think if you put more time into this you could have a really great piece.

yeticatcher, that some good shit. the hair rules, her skin has a craepod feel and thats what I think what makes the water work, but the front of the shoulder needs a little more blending to her torso. Then again Im more black and white, graphite and real paper

Thanks everybody! All of your crits are right on. I plan on going back in and fixing her up, however I think I'll keep her sort of sketchy - just my preference.

ion one: You're absolutly right. That is her. I came across her pics in a link at Domai.com or was it hegre-archives.com, can't remember. But check them out for good non-explicit nude reference.

at first glance, it looked really nice and sexy, but as a looked at it more, I realized the arm is way too big, and the towel (jeans?) at her behind, makes her look a little too heavy in the trunk. :)

Yeah that pic is familiar to a bunch of people i guess. It IS a sexy pic, after all. And you're absolutely right about that arm. It was a fun exercise two years ago - I know better today.
