hey, im lookin to buy a nice new set of markers
are prismacolor the best ones to get, dump all your marker preferences here pleasse:D

and there are so many different kinds, i dont know which to pick

i would mainly be using them in sketchbooks and maybe some drawing boards

prismas are good but they dry up fast and dont last long, especially if you use them in sketchbooks, use marker paper of smooth copy paper, tria markers might be better, they are re fillable and more juicy from what i hear, as in last longer.

I use prismacolor warm grays but only because those seem to be all that's available in my area. I haven't tried anything else but I can definitely say that prismas do dry up very quickly.

I use Copic markers, they are great, though you have to change the nibs pretty often if you use them for sketching. The ink runs out pretty fast to and the refills aren't very cheap. They don't dry to fast either so you can make diffrent tones blend quite nicely...

thanks guys, ill be sure to check some of these out
i already have a set of grays prismacolor, and yes some of them are already dry
so maybe with the color markers ill go with something else
