I draw alot. I can't honestly say that I am really good at drawing but i don't think that I'm terrible either. I really want to get better so I'm going to try to post a new sketch every day. I got a tablet for christmas and am really excited to finally start using it. So here are the first few feeble sketches of mine.

We all have to start somewhere. Mix up imaginative pieces with stuff from real life and have fun.

Hey, that's great that you want to do the work to get better, but for the love of Pete don't try to do a drawing a day! Give yourself time to really sit down and examine what you are drawing and to work through whatever issues you might have in trying to portray your subject. Get something started, and push it 'till you can't find anything else wrong with it, that's when you're done, whatever day that may be. And draw from life, draw your hands, your feet, a statue, an action igure, yourself in a mirror, a stuffed goat (whatever)... And Good Luck!

Wow, it took forever to find this thing. And whatever happened to that "sketch a day" philosophy, huh?
On topic: My only advice for you is to constantly look at things from life. Emulating drawing styles is good and well, but understanding how things fit together and why is the best thing. And above all else, PRACTICE.
Remember, loose fingers. ;)

If you are aiming to post new stuff everyday remember to do lots of studies! If you are serious about improving your drawing then draw from observation whenever you can and you will feel yourself getting better really quickly.
