I remember you. Ridiculously detailed soldiers and weapons with some rather glaring anatomical problems...
I'm assuming the top ones are your latest. They're very well executed weapons. I'd like to see your latest character work, to see if that has improved as well.

South Louisiana, eh? I'm from Slidell. Those guns are nice, but the aesthetic seems more present-day than Sci-Fi. However, I'm willing to bet that was what you had in mind.

Lafayette, or at least the outskirts, to be precise, I had a cousin that used to live in Slidell, nice to see a local on the site. on the guns, I was going for a mix of grungy and industrial, since they would all have to be produced on a massive scale. I also made most of them (and the exception are pretty easy to pick out) to look cheap and easy to mass produce, so they're going to lack some of the creature comforts that more expensive weapons would have, at least that's what I was trying for, whether I succeeded is still up for debate.

You have a nice variety of guns here.
You can experiment with them and take them to another lvl(while expanding your collection :D)
Keep up

Nice guns :D
But yes, its design looks more...current era-ish, rather than sci-fi. In a way that looks good and kinda different from the others, but on the other hand, it ended up looking ...old.
still, good job.

This, being one to give people what they want, this the latest "good" character concept Ive created, its about 5 months (I would provide a more recent example, but Marine Corps basic and SOI has taken up most of my time)

but, since this is supposed to be a weapons thread, those of you who you could give two shits about my character can pretend the guy doesn't exist and focus on the light machine gun in his hand.

Good variety and quantity on those guns - I'd say to keep pushing, looking for good shapes - a few look pretty familiar, like the MBR66 is shapewise very very close to an FG42 for instance.

Cool to find you over here, I've seen your stuff over at deviant. My crit would be, that some of the ones that you have listed as machine pistols (for example) don't look like slug throwers, they look like your laser or sci-fi weapons. I do like how that ones made my the same manufacturers have a distinct look linking them together. I like too how there is such a variety of designs. I've seen a lot of weapon designers who have only a handful of designs and then stop. This is an interesting body of work. Keep it up.

If you need help with anatomy problems, just do a few studies. As for your latest pic; reminds me of old Mongolian armor, but I can't point out any proportion errors or what not.

Nice range of designs here with a gritty feel to them, but you're making the classic mistake of drawing tiny, which leads to rough scans. Give yourself room to work. Not only is it a good habit that lets you draw in more detail, but your scans will come out cleaner.
Either that or your scanner sucks. :P
