Nice start, Elana! Good to see so much different techniques in here and the will to invest time into (often boring) studies.
Keep it up! :)

Yeah, Posemaniacs is real great. First of all, the legs on your mannikins are really short. You have start of right and male them quite a bit longer, they ar ejust out of proportion. I have also started studying with Loomis since some weeks, and it is hard to keep going but I gues in the end it'll all pay off. I've already finished my Perfect Proportions sketches, check them out on my sketchbook. Elliott is great by the way, though I'd start with bigger brushes and get into details real late, thats the only right way to colour. Great start alltogether.
Cheers

Hi Elana, thank you very much for the comment, it means a lot to me, really.
I like your sketchbook as well. You have a lot of foundation work, which surprisingly I see many lack.
Heck, you've now reminded me that I need to do a lot more as well. I may have to explore posemaniacs too ;)
In your last digi paintings, try using different sized brushes in addition to blocking out the large blocks of colour like Janos mentioned.
Are you using photoshop? Play with the shape dynamics and the blending brushes and blending modes. They'll give you smoother transitions and shapes, and its fun to just explore the tools.
Keep it up, its all looking really good.

so far so goo, the portraits look nice , but you should do from life and not pictures ... i see in some of your drawings that you have problems with the lines ... not to confident are you ... just say fuck it and put the lines as they come to you , naturally, that's what i do
