Her eyes and nose seem awfully large. Also the nose is too flat on the end. If the brown spots are age spots, I'd suggest fading them a bit. You did a really nice job on the hair and hat. I assume the coat isn't finished yet? Definitely worth working on some more.

Really beautiful.
How do you make such beautiful colored pictures? What equipment have you used to create it? I think, it werent color pencils or crayons.

Andrey- I am currenly using Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. I am practicing using a new oil brush in Painter, and that along with some special brushes I made is what I used.

nikia- Yes I agree, I had shown this image to a friend and he made the exact same comment about the eyes. I agree as well with what you said about the nose. I changed it a bit and added a little ambient light so let me know what ya think. I also faded the age spots as you suggested, thank you for your comments on the hair and hat, I have had such a difficult time in painting hair that I am very happy to see that I am finally starting to capture it better. The coat is supposed to be a wool type coat, but I dont' think it comes across very well. I added a gradient to it to try to help it, but I'm not sure if it worked.

Thanks again for the comments!

Good job on the age spots, they look more natural. I had thought the coat was a wool one in your previous picture. You've done a great job of bringing that out. As for the nose, you still have a few problems. Maybe taking a look at noses on this site or magazines would help. It's hard to explain, try rounding the outside edges (beside the nostril) more. You need almost a half-circle starting from where the nose flares out from the bridge down around to the nostrils. You'll probably have to make the nostrils a bit smaller to do this without widening the bottom of the nose more. Hope this helps.

Hey nikia,
Thanks for the input. yeah it seems like this nose is a bit wide isn't it... I'll try to fix it tomarrow, and maybe post it again. Thanks for the info you have helped me a ton. Hope to see some of your work up. Thanks again!

No problem, glad I could help. I've got a few pieces of my work in various places here. Latest is a fairy in the finished section. Page 3 now.
