This one's the first colored self portrait I've done. Looks kind of... superficial.

Alright, just finished this one. I think it's better than the previous one in terms of color variety.

It seems that making these keeps getting a little bit easier each day... Or perhaps it's just because I found an angle where my face is better lit. It's hard to draw your face when it's completely in the shadows. Anyhow, this one was pretty fast and equally sketchy. Also, in the previous one I just looked like an old Chinese woman.

Well, I did another self portrait... This one right after taking a sauna. :) Tried a little bit different technique this time. Some comments/crits would be appreciated as always.

Somehow I always manage to look crappy in my portraits even if I never draw any of my zits. :geekg:

these look great. seems you have a nice understanding of volume and structure. your color values are nice too. ever tried to go for a longer sitting and see what you can do?

Thanks! I'm sure I'll keep making more of these. :D I was thinking I should try making a bigger one in pencil next... hmm. We'll see.
