Hello everyone. :)

I'm certain most of you havn't a clue who I am (for a good reason though, I've only posted a few pieces of art in the daily sketchbook section), but that dosn't much matter, now does it?

So, what are you doing here? Well, I was wanting to get some drawing books for Christmas, but I had no idea what to get. As of now I have next to no drawing book, which royaly stinks. So, if you could perhaps do small reviews in the following format, I'd be much obliged. Keep in mind that you're doing this for the community, not just for the schmoe you've never heard of. :)

Name, price, rating (preferably out of 10)
Summary of topics covered and short review

Oh, and if this is in the wrong section, I apologize, I just didn't really know where to post it. :)

Thanks,
Noah

EDIT:
*smacks self for saying 'book' instead of 'books'*

I'm not sure if this is the type of book you're looking for right now, but it's definitely a good read: The Practice and Science of Drawing by Harold Speed. It doesn't teach you how to draw, but he talks about moving from technically correct drawing to something more expressive.

LadyLioness: I've actually already read that thread, but I thought that most (or at least many) people don't go to the middle class section. I thought the lounge would be a much broader area in which someone would look. Thanks for posting the link nonetheless.

mtw: Thanks, and I'll look into it. :)

Pencil Soldier: I believe it's third person, but whatever. :D

More reviews anyone? If you feel like reviewing any other product that would be fine, and if enough people do that then this could become a holiday shopping guide, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.
