start a sketchbook instead! looks good for a start.. you have the elements down.. avoid using the photos to 'finish' an area, instead use photos to support texture and forms within 'flat shapes'! Be sophisticated about what choices you do :) Also, do composition thumbnails when you're going to include a story , or some sort of attention to a character in such huge scene ( I recommend you do it in general.. but especially for that )
otherwise you might end up with a figure in the corner just distracting from the rest of the piece. Keep it up! If you pull 2 of these off a day, i'll be impressed :) but I would rather see you spending a lot more time towards finishing one piece a day, and do studying in the other time ;)

Caleb, you would have shamed me if your work sucked, thank heavens it does not suck. In fact, your piece here is amazing! Us 'caleb's' have to tick together. Wonderful piece, and I'm not being bias.
