I've recently purchased a wacom tablet and am having a lot of issues getting my drawings to look not so blurry and more clear to the eye but haven't had any luck so far. I'm currently working on some textures for games which I have my settings on 256x256 and 96 resolution. A lot of videos I watch they seem to be able to zoom in so close to there picture without having there pictures become completly pixelated like mine do. If anyone has some tips or pointers for a starting texture artist I would highly appreciate it.

Here's some leaves I made earlier but I still think there not as sharp as they could look :/

Start with a larger canvas. It helps to eliminate jitters and such. The back end of that means that the file is larger, but you can shrink the final down to the basics. I tend to run at 3000pxl x 4000 pxl at 200 dpi to start my drawings. It's a relic of an old tutorial.
