This is something I'm pretty proud of.. it's my first ever charcoal drawing. Give me your comments so I've got something to build on next time...

try to clean it up more, as in less smudges. also the mustache isn't quite right and the eyes are a little bit funky, but overall i like it and its a good first try.

i'm going to say work the page more. don't be afraid to get messy. work the drawing until you think you've worked it enough, and then keep going. finally, remember that the eraser is just as important as the charcoal.

i dont necessarily agree with that.. there is such a thing as overworking.. but i do think you should push this further.. its a good basic start..
