Hey, I haven't posted much, I thought these were pretty cool and a good way to keep busy and practicing over winter break.
I did this one Saturday, I hope its okay that its caricaturey. I'll get more realistic with other ones. Now that finals are over, I'll try to do these daily and explore different mediums.

This one was done in openCanvas 4, in about 3.5 hours.

Hahaha, very, very nice! Thanks for the comment on mine, by the way. Looks like you've got a great start! I think I should spend more time like this on mine... open canvas is a great program that I just haven't used in a looong time. I'll keep watching !

This piece of talking charcoal tells the truth, it is a beast to handle. Not one that I have tamed yet. One big problem is that i was drawing on a surface that was at level with my chest so the angle was very skewed. If you put your monitor flat on your desk, it should look a bit better....

Thanks shamandalie, glad to hear your excitement.

Thank you too sketcheth, once again your work is very skilled. And openCanvas is my favorite program. I don't know how to mess around with brushes, and oc has some nice default ones.

Hahaha, perhaps not strong to the finish, but at least you do them. Now what's up, Ron? No update? That's just not fair. I really like the sumi-e ink, that's a neat media...do more!
