I love both bands but my favorite PR album this year would have to be Station by Russian Circles. RAPES the new Mogwai!

Hmm... I got like 50 or so 2008 albums so I can't choose.

Opeth - Watershed I guess, but that's not really true.

Oh, and the new God is an Astronaut album. It's really fantastic and you'll love it if you're a post-rock fan. The Sigur Rós (með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust) was a disappointment from that genre, however.
