Beautiful Drawing.

What I like:

-Nice likeness( it's not a portrait, but it feels right and is just damn beautiful)
-Great coloring, very subtle and sweet
-Great overall feel

What I don't like:

- the hands and arms are off.. I'm not stickler for perfect anatomy, but the problems are taking away from the gesture of the piece. I don't really "feel" her doing the motion of removing the sword.
-The coloring is a bit inconsistent in places. Some of the shadows are too hard given the soft, ambient feel you've established. And the top of her kimono has none of the shadowing you've given the lower half of the kimono.
-clothing.. your drapery of clothing needs more effort. I think you can do better, and just need to pay more attention. The ends of her sleeves should be falling downward, but they look as if they been overstarched and are pointing to the left. If this were the wind then here hair would also be blowing that direction. And the other folds and stesses of her kimono can be done better. Right now, her kimono works well as a design, but it doesn't have much gesture or weight.

these are my critiques for ways you can improve the picture.
I do think this is an excellent work. And the more I see the face, the more I go "wow".

this is ill.. i like it.. only thing id change is the nose.. where the heck is that yellow light coming from? it stands out way too much.. either add more yellows elsewhere in the picture, or leave it out.. id leave it out..
