Hello people!
I've been browsing this forum for a while now, and thought
that it was time to become a member and start posting:p
here is some ballpoint-pen work I did

Gawl'dang, man! Those are beautiful.
It always blows my mind to see what some folks can do with a deceptively-simple ballpoint pen. The poison-dart frog and sulky critter are my favorites. (The latter is such a neat little character study...with luscious, solid textures, lighting, and inking technique too boot.)

The pants are hilarious.
Superb shading.
Post more please.

These are wonderful! This is among the best ballpoint pen work that I have seen in a while. Would you mind letting us in on your technique for that awesome shading you were able to achieve? I wouldn't mind seeing a tutorial or two if you have the time. Let's see some more of your artwork!!!!:)
Edit: I have to say that I just went to your website and I was blown away!!! I can't believe you are only 25 years old! The only way I can ever begin to approach your level is to start practicing 24/7 now and maybe I would get there by my thirties (but more likely my forties).
Your "about me" section says that you mostly developed your art skills on your own. What (besides practice and your natural talent for drawing) helped you the most?

caramitten: thanks alot! cool that you saw wich cind of frog
it was supposed to be :D
happy you liked the style
nev: thank you! more stuff coming here....
daniela: You are too kind! I don't have any tut for you, but
I might make one in the future! I is basicly just start out with
basic shapes, and light hand (couse ballpointlines are there
to stay;) ), and then put in more and more detail.
I'm very happy you liked my website! I will fill it up with more
stuff soon.... I hope :P
About the development of skills. I think learning to see and
to pick up all the knowledge you can, from just everydays life
is a good thing. See potential pictures in everything around
you when you go to work or whatever you are doing.
That, and lots of drawing!!!
Here is some more ballpoint doodles:

Where you active in the demo scene at all? The way you can do realism and then the twisted face style reminds me of stuff from back then, except done in pen... excellent work, either way.

I haven't seen ballpoint work like this in a while. I love ballpoint, it gives you such nice gradients. Thank for bringing back some good memories, and kickin butt with some good stuff. I likes it a lot. The smoker is tiz-ight.

That twisted face is freaking me out.
It does sort of remind me vaguely of the demo scene. Maybe the dudes from Future Crew will pop out of nowhere and start posting stuff now. :D

You definitively bring depth in
the pictures, even without colors. Just amazing!
But what the heck is 'ballpoint'?

AmadorL: thank you, but define professional? ;)
kabuki: thanks! I just use the cheepest ballpoint that
Parker has! But most pens would do! you just have to
clean the tip often.
Carnifex: hehe.... shading practice is never waste of
time :P
Oblio: twisted smoker is pretty twisted.... out of my twisted
mind :D Thanks!
rodrigo: Thanks alot! very happy that I can inspire you :)
liquidwerx: thank you.... glad you like the twisted one!
empyrean: Demo scene????? Nope! ...uhh.... what is that?
thanks anyway :)
Mykro: hehe...very happy you like it, and that I could bring
back some good memories :D .... no clue what "tiz-ight"
means, but I'll take it as a compliment anyway :)
Lost Dragon: hope it is freaking you out in a good way! Don't
want people to get nightmares of it :P
Again "demo scene" is mentioned.... I really wish I knew what
that was!!!
thanks for the link!!
der_sAlzige: cool that you like the stuff!!!
a ballpointpen is (like Lost Dragon put a link of) the most
used ink-pen you get at any bank or wherever you have to
sign something. The pen you have to push in the "but" to
get out... an push in the but to get it in again. "klick-klack"
I'll put a couple more here...
