Arm, how about instead of asking people to check out your portfolio, you actually contact them through email like they requested? Notice that many times these employers do NOT come back to check their threads (see his post count of 1?)

If you saw a job offer on a bulletin board at a coffee chop, would you write on it "I'm interested" and hope the person who left it there might come back and check it?

It does you no good, and it annoys the rest of us when an old thread gets bumped for no good reason.
