Hey all, I haven't posted anyhting in ages... so here are a couple character concepts I did up. Let me know what you think. I've been swamped at work, but I'm trying to squeeze in time for personal stuff whenever I can. There isn't enough hours in the day I tell you...

great concepts....
the only crit would be at the first one. I like the yellow back frame, but at the bottom of it you can see the line in the black aswell and the two blacks are different tones which IMO doesn't look very good. give the black outside the yellow frame the same colour as the black inside.
good work keep it up!

The texture on the first one looks cool, im talking about the swirly tatoo thing on his right arm.
The red and green gradient on the second one looks great too.
I would like to see a secondary light to give some form to the darker areas on the red demon, but thats probably just me being picky. Good job on both of them, i hope you find time to do some more personal stuff.

Nice work Black, the first one has a nice Hellboy vibe going on. The tattoo work on the arm is stellar, really adds to the character.
Something about the angle of the cannon on concept number two looks off though.
Your use of shadow is improving, especially evident on the first image, well done.

If that's the ground the deamon guy is walking on, then he has really short legs. But if he is wading through 2 foot deep blood than it's all good.
I love the second one.
