Sorry if this has been asked before. I did a search but couldn't find any threads on the subject (perhaps I missed it?).
Anyway, I recently purchased a medium Bamboo fun for ease of transportation and other conveniences, and I have a flight Wednesday morning. I was wonder for those of you in the U.S. who might have already been through this, were there any particular issues with security when taking your tablet on board (I don't want to stow it under if I don't have to)? Any advice to prevent hassle?
I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

I've carried my old Graphire on a few flights before. No trouble.

I tuck my Intuos 6x8 in my backpack when I go to and from school, and I never have any problems. It goes in the bag, it goes through the X-Ray. Only if you have a computer, a video camera, or a game console does it have to be taken out and seperately screened. Likewise, if it goes in luggage....it's fine. Wacom makes freakin' tablet tanks.
(Actually, this year, when I went through screening at Tampa....the TSA agents were more amused at 5 in the morning about the gouache paints I had put in the "liquids" plastic baggie...didn't have a clue what they were talking about because they were speaking Spanish...until one read off the colors on some of the tubes..."Orange, Violet, Green"....lol...)

I have my intuos in a carry on wrapped in bubble wrap - never any questions or issues: it just stays in the bag.

I haven't tried it yet, I guess it's possible. If they are big enough and you flap your arms real fast ? jk
No, but seriously bubble wrap seems like an fine idea.

I flew with my tablet on the 15th this month, and everything was fine. :)
but just in case, I would recommend putting it into your hand luggage, because suitcases are THROWN. I'm very happy that my tablet still seems to be working fine, though...

I fly to and from school with my tablet in my carry-on backpack, no problems. Actually, I am flying today with my tablet. The only thing that has ever happened to me with my carry-ons is the confiscation of my mat knife... definitely a brain fart on my part. Left it in my pencil box. :3

An inspection guy just asked what it was, but probably was just curious, since they really don't see anything in their scanner. They were more uptight on scanning my laptop though.
& they joked that they liked my Lebron James shoes as well :O
